Medical Office Assistant (MOA) – Growth Opportunity | Kelowna, BC
We are currently hiring TWO Medical Office Assistants to join our rapidly growing Family Physician clinic in the highly sought-after Pandosy area of Kelowna.
Our new 5,000 sq ft clinic is expanding quickly, and we are looking for dependable, organized, patient-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced medical environment and are excited to grow with our team long term.

- Full-time or part-time permanent candidates

- We are also open to temporary coverage applicants available between June 15–23, 2026
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, collaborative clinic environment where professionalism, accountability, and patient care are highly valued. As the clinic continues to grow, there will be opportunities for advancement into senior administrative, MOA Lead, and clinic management roles for the right candidate.
Structured training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed and feel confident in your role. Candidates must be based in or near Kelowna, BC. Some flexibility for occasional remote administrative work may be available after training.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
- Manage front desk operations including phones, scheduling, and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) while ensuring privacy compliance
- Assist with patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and payments
- Coordinate communication between physicians and patients efficiently and professionally
- Support both front-office and back-office clinic operations
- Assist with exam room turnover, clinic organization, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Perform equipment checks, restocking, inventory management, and supply organization
- Assist with sterilization and preparation of medical equipment in accordance with clinic protocols
- Support administrative duties including scanning, filing, inventory tracking, and data entry
- Help maintain an efficient, collaborative, and patient-focused clinic environment
Qualifications
- Previous MOA, medical office, or dental office experience is preferred but not required
- We also welcome new MOAs or candidates eager to learn and grow within a supportive clinic environment
- Experience with Telus CHR is a bonus (training will be provided)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
