Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to provide clients with high-quality nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, and body waxing, while creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. The Nail Technician will also be responsible for retail sales and upselling services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and other nail enhancements with precision and care
- Provide body waxing services in accordance with sanitation and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station following health regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to clients to enhance their experience
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
- Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
- Stay updated on current nail trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Valid state licensing or certification as a Nail Technician
- Experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, or similar treatments preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus
- Retail sales experience or aptitude for upselling products is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $250.00-$300.00 per day
