Job Overview:
Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Hours of Work: 9:00AM - 5:30PM
Work Site: on site at designated project sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced residential Construction Manager (full-time, permanent) to join our Field Operations team and oversee multiple residential projects throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
The Construction Manager will be responsible for scheduling, trade coordination, quality control, homeowner communication, and post-possession service. The ideal candidate will be pro-active, hands one and take ownership and accountability of their projects and responsibilities. project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential construction projects from stakeout through possession to final possession
- Maintain schedules for trades, suppliers, inspections, and day-to-day site activities and ensure projects are on track for scheduled delivery
- Input schedule updates, invoices, and documentation in internal software and databases
- Conduct site meetings and reviews with trades and clients as required
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure proper execution and identify potential issues early
- Conduct regular site inspections for workmanship, safety, organization, and cleanliness
- Ensure warranty services are completed as requested and documented as per internal guidelines
- Maintain organized filing of site documentation, deficiency lists, and service follow-ups
- Proactively Identify and resolve construction challenges, delays, and scheduling conflicts
- Ensure each home is delivered as per client’s specifications and ART’s standard of quality
- Address homeowner or client concerns promptly and professionally
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and internal team members
- Provide regular progress updates to internal departments and management as needed
- Train and mentor construction staff as required
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of three (3) years of residential construction management experience, is required
- Demonstrated understanding of residential construction practices and processes, is required.
- Experience in multi family projects, an asset
- Experience in managing multiple project sites at different stages of construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Working familiarity with Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable using smartphones/tablets and basic construction software
- Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and local municipal requirements and practices
- Able to efficiently communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with a prompt follow-up process
