Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, particularly in the hotel setting.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and public washrooms.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain safety and health standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Without assistance, carry, place, move, or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; with assistance for items beyond 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, pull, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
