Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, beverage preparation, and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a memorable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of food handling, food safety, and sanitation throughout all bar activities.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment, with a focus on bartending preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations.
