On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Security Engineer - AI tools and Config for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Security Engineer - AI tools and Config - Job Description:
The role involves managing and configuring the tools layer of the AI security platform, ensuring security controls are correctly deployed and maintained. The project focuses on the operational hygiene and security tooling stack of AI components, including governance and policy configuration, vulnerability management, and supply chain security controls.
Security Engineer - AI tools and Config - Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security controls across the AI platform stack
- Ensure AI platform components are inventoried and maintained with a current 'bill of health'
- Configure data governance and DSPM controls in Microsoft Purview
- Manage Azure Policy and Resource Graph configurations
- Own the vulnerability management lifecycle for AI pipeline components
- Implement supply chain security controls
- Maintain configuration consistency across cloud and on-premises environments
- Support incident response teams with tooling context
- Operate within an agile DevSecOps delivery model
Security Engineer - AI tools and Config - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
- Proficiency configuring governance and compliance tools like Microsoft Purview, Azure Policy
- Experience with vulnerability management tooling and lifecycle processes
- Ability to implement and maintain security controls consistently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Security Engineer - AI tools and Config – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with AI supply chain risks
- Experience with policy-as-code tools
- Knowledge of data security posture management concepts
- Exposure to threat intelligence workflows
- Background in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code
