Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant and Cleaner to join our team. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our Travel Centre lot, Showers, Washrooms, Pumps, Carwash and store shelves and floor. This is a temporary part time job 2-3 days a week for a few months.
Duties:
- Keep the Esso Travel Centre lot organized and clean
- Checks parked trucks, trailers, cars and other vehicles within an allotted area to establish if a vehicle has been parked illegally or for too long.
- Issues infringement notices and records details of time and location
- Reports long time parked vehicles to city parking control.
- Calls tow trucks to move illegally parked vehicles
- Reports and organises the removal of abandoned vehicles
- May give evidence in court if someone appeals the infringement notice
- Coordinate with the service departments about vehicle organization
- Keep clean all diesel and gas pumps, washrooms, carwash, store shelves and floor.
- Shovel snow from Fuel tanks lids and side walks in winter time.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in a travel centre setting is beneficial
