Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Server Staff to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain effective time management to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for order calculations, billing, and change management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
