Thermo Cool Mechanical is looking for a pipe-fitter to assist our project department in the retrofits of boiler rooms, chillers, cooling towers, make-up airs and other commercial equipment. The candidate will be exposed to the inner workings of the mechanical systems in condominium buildings and will have the opportunity to learn and expand existing skills including but not limited to blueprint reading, rigging, welding, press, and grooved fittings.

Qualifications and Skills
- Must have clean driving record
- Gas Fitter 2, or 1 beneficial but not required
- 313A, beneficial but not required
- Experience with Victaulic roll grooving steel and copper pipe an asset
- Experience pipe fitting steel pipe up to 8" an asset
- Experience soldering copper pipe up to 4" an asset
- Ability to read engineered drawings and translate it to the jobsite
- Experience welding pipe is a benefit but not required
- Projects will require placement of heavy equipment, knowledge of rigging and machinery moving is an asset
- Must be willing to work independently and in a team environment
- Capable of working flexible hours
- Good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
