Team Viking is an Alberta-based company that provides on-site mobile heat exchanger cleaning services to the major Oil & Gas Corporations, Municipal customers, and manufacturing sector. Team Viking has expanded it’s operations, facility, and field equipment to continue it’s 10 th consecutive year of growth.
Summary
Team Viking is looking to recruit 2 individuals with experience working in the oil and gas services industry. We prefer someone with experience in the trade; but we are willing to train the right candidate. Our processes and technologies are unique in our industry and we prefer to build our team from the ground up, and promote from within.

Job Details
- Training and necessary industry certifications are provided.
- The successful applicant will be hired as an employee (not sub contractor) and must complete a 3 month probationary period.
- The physical demands of the role are moderate-to-low, as there are some lifting procedures for setup and tear down of jobs, some walking at client site but this work does not have the demands of construction trades.
- Driving to and from site and at site is essential; operators must have the ability to drive an F450 – F550 or equivalent while pulling tandem and tri-axle trailers of up to 34 feet in length.
- Connecting to heat exchanger circuits, mixing prescribed chemical within the cleaning systems and monitoring the cleaning equipment and gauges through the prescribed cleaning cycles.
Requirements
- Industrial Chemical Cleaning Experience
- Oilfield experience with preference given to people who have worked on exchangers and SAGD
- Must have extensive experience in driving in all conditions while pulling a trailer
- Must be local to the greater Edmonton area
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel and work out of town for extended periods of time
- Class 5 license with clean abstractJob Details:
- Working out of town at various oilfield sites throughout AB,BC and SASK
- Working in the shop in stony packing and unloading for jobs
- Shop work to do small repair on equipment
- Working with chemicals to circulate through exchangers
- Driving trucks while pulling a trailer, backing up and staging equipment
Compensation
- Wages start at $34.00 for a junior operator, incremental wage increases as you progress
- Overtime paid at time and half after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week
- Shop rate is $26.25
