Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Provide body waxing services as requested by clients, ensuring comfort and safety
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs and preferences
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or nail technician license required
- Proven experience in nail care services, including gel, acrylics, and nail art preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Retail sales experience is advantageous for upselling opportunities
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
