Summary
The Warehouse Assistant position based in Rocky View, and plays a vital role in supporting our warehouse operations. The position will be responsible for identifying appropriate tag and marking requirements for all incoming and outgoing parts and materials, ensuring product meets QMS requirements. They will also work with Purchasing and the production team to ensure on time and on budget, seamless manufacture of equipment.
This will be a full time position. Working hours will be 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with possibility for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas
- Ensure accurate labeling and tracking of items
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform visual yard inspection to identify any anomalies and hazards
- Oversee loading and unloading equipment from trucks and other conveyances
- Ensure warehoused products are adequately preserved and monitored
- Assist in inventory counts and reporting all discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely workflow
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong written, communication and organizational skills
- Experience With Microsoft Outlook & Office 365 applications
- Minimum two years related experience.
- Forklift certification(can be provided if expired)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence & Clean Drivers Abstract
- Understanding of material and material specification requirements
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
