Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy (AZIA) is seeking an energetic and responsible Summer Day Camp Lead to plan, coordinate, and oversee a safe and engaging summer program for elementary-aged children. The Camp Lead will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and ensure a positive, inclusive, and well-structured camp experience.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a structured daily camp program (games, arts, sports, field trips)
Supervise and support camp staff and volunteers
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
Manage attendance, schedules, and daily logistics
Communicate with parents and school administration
Organize and oversee field trips and special activities
Maintain a positive and inclusive environment aligned with school values
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
Experience working with children (camp, school, or childcare setting)
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage groups of children in a dynamic environment
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clear Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
