BEZAIRE & HEMERYCK PC is in search of an experienced full-time Law Clerk or Legal Assistant to handle Corporate Law and Real Estate matters. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience and have working knowledge of corporate law programs (e.g. Minutebox), practice management software (e.g. Cosmolex) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Unity, Conveyancer and Teraview is a bonus. He or she must also be a team player that is prepared to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced legal practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to lawyers;
- Draft, review and revise documents relating to Asset Purchases and Sales, Share Purchases and Sales, Incorporation documents, Annual filings for Minute Books
- Draft, review and revise documents relating to agreements of purchase and sale, closing documents, mortgage documents
- Correspond with clients and staff of other firms in a courteous and professional manner
- Other duties as required from time to time.
