Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and swiftly.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area and dining space, adhering to all food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and upsell products to enhance sales.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Follow all food handling procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous; willingness to learn new skills is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
