The Job:
Daily Analysis of the following key metrics to deliver essential insights to drive revenue, profitability and market share:

Pricing Analysis:
Evaluate and create predictive modelling on the effects of marketplace and promotional pricing on Average Sales Price, Profitability implications for both Amazon and Spin Master, change in the Amazon P70 forecast, glance view % and conversion trend % for an item or brand.
Deliver insights on the appropriate actions and implications to optimize sell-in / sell-thru to our forecasts and profitability implications for CRaP.

Traffic and Conversion Analysis:
Analyze the correlation between Spin Master marketing activity (TV, Digital, Social, Influencer), Amazon Advertising (AMS/AMG), and Content updates on key metric changes related to Glance Views % Change and Conversion Trend % on a daily basis.
Deliver reporting and insights into the reaction, lifts and sales outcomes to these activities related to the Amazon platform.
Review daily change in organic and paid rankings resulting from marketing activity and impact on Glance View% and Conversion % to understand effectiveness. Provide insight into how to optimize for timing, frequency and conversion.
Delivery of overall marketing campaign analytics, tracking and insights.
Provide A/B test and learn reports for marketing, promotional and content campaigns.

Retail eMerchandising Analysis:
Analyze our digital shelf placement on a weekly basis to understand our organic and paid share of the first page, Top 3, Top 9 and the competitive conquesting on our pages.
Provide insight in the necessary actions required to have desired effects and share of placement on Amazon platform.
Evaluate retail merchandising solutions and marketing vehicles on Glance Views % and Conversion Trend %.

Consumer and Purchase Behavior Analysis:
Analyze how the consumer is shopping the portfolio of Spin Master brands from repeat purchase behavior, market basket, item comparison and customer review analysis.
Repeat Purchase Behavior Analysis – Understand how many of our products are re-ordered and provide insight into what items and brands we should be re-marketing to the same consumer for repeat purchase.
Market Basket Analysis – Evaluate the combination of items entering the basket with our products and provide insight into potential promotional offers, product bundles/variants and brands to conquest and/or defend against. Provide further insight into any competitive intelligence the data is communicating.
Item comparisons and Alternate Purchase Behavior – Report the items the consumer is comparing our product to in their shopping journey on Amazon to understand and deliver insights around potential conversion threats competitively, brands to conquest and defend against.
Customer Review Analysis – Evaluate daily and weekly changes in customer reviews with a primary focus at launch on the effects of conversion and sales results. Provide insight into critical changes and where Spin Master needs to focus on improving customer reviews.

Demographic Analysis:
Analyze the demographics of our key brands and items to report back to our marketing departments providing insight into the accuaracy of our expected target market versus actual target market on the Amazon platform. This type of analysis will help improve our communication and marketing tactics in how and who we deliver to for Amazon Advertising (AMS/AMG) and GBU marketing.
Job Requirements

What we can expect from you:
Work with the business stakeholders to measure change, develop value propositions that are based on sound analytics and insight provided.
Ability to drive and present insightful approaches to better retail decisions: Have strong hypothesis, understand the data needed to conduct the analysis, perform the analysis, synthesize output and communicate the same to clients.
Develop and build from scratch an enhanced data and analytics roadmap for the eCommerce/Amazon platform for the US marketplace with goal to extend to international businesses.
Apply out-of-the box, advanced algorithms and modelling to complex problems in real-time systems while understanding the interplay between various data sources.
Create Executive Storyboard style dashboards and productionising them to share with the organization.
Querying databases to extract information.
Explore new ways of building models and productionising them.
Work with 3rd Party Reseller partners on data analysis gather and insights.

Who’s a good fit for this team:
Strong problem solver with analytical experience including and use of data integration and data mining tools
Ability to present results and strategies to senior stakeholders and the customer.
Problem solving approach, communication and articulation skills with an inclination and ability topick up new techniques/technologies.
Desire to get into the most granular details of technical/implementation/operations issues to create and build data framework.
Ability to work in high-pace, fast environment to multi-task and take on multiple projects.

You should apply if you have the following:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Maths/Stats, Analystics/Data Sciences from a reputed institution with 2+ years of experience in solving data science problms that has driven value to customers.
Strong technical skills in programming, excel, one of Python/R/Julia. Knowledge of SQL is required. Extensive experience with data manipulation using SQL and R coupled with very strong excel skills.
Experience handling data modelling, algorithms and large data structures
Ability to present results and strategies to senior stakeholders and the customer.
Prior experience with A/B tst and learn and measuring performance is mandatory.
