Our company is looking to hire 3 Catering Chef/ Cook to join our growing team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in a high-volume catering setting, ensuring all dishes are cooked to the highest standard.
- Work closely with the Chef to ensure all ingredients are available for meal preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen by following food safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Manage the preparation and cooking of various dishes, including salads, appetizers, entrees, and other complex menu items.
- Ensure all dishes are properly seasoned and presented according to the company’s standards.
- Follow recipes and adjust ingredients to cater to specific event needs or dietary requirements.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies when needed.
- Assist in the coordination of cooking and delivery schedules to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, good attendance, and a strong work ethic.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is required, preferably in catering or restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential for success in this role.
