Study Partners Tutoring is seeking qualified educators to tutor Kindergarten to Grade 12 students at our Cobourg location on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Applications will be considered from current teachers, retired teachers, and teacher candidates, as well as early childhood educators and educational assistants experienced in early literacy. Non-teachers with math and science expertise who have previous tutoring experience will also be considered to tutor grade 9 to 12 math and science. The ability to tutor in French is an asset. Applicants must:
- have previous teaching and/or tutoring experience
- be familiar with grade level expectations in the Ontario Curriculum
- be patient, empathetic, positive and forward-looking
- be able to respond to students’ individual learning styles
- be able to obtain a Vulnerable Person's Police Clearance
