The UAH and Stollery Children’s Emergency Department is a busy tertiary care level I emergency department and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This large tertiary Trauma Centre provides opportunities in a broad base of emergency nursing from Pediatrics to Trauma Care. The Emergency Department works in a state of the art facility utilizing an electronic tracking system, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for emergency patients. Decisions are made in a collaborative multidisciplinary health care team environment. Description:
As a Supply Coordinator, you will be required to perform numerous duties related to customer service and supply distribution functions. In this role you will initiate orders, track medical surgical supplies and equipment, track transactions, monitor inventory levels, manage repairs and loaner devices, and ensure that supplies are available for optimum patient care. You will also be responsible for inventory counts, record keeping, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of Healthcare Administration experience. Experience in healthcare procurement and shipping/receiving processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle iProcurement. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical equipment terminology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage increasing workloads and prioritize effectively. Must be able to work independently and perform well under pressure. The role requires sustained periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting equipment and supplies.
