We are hiring a Factory Assistant to support a busy precision manufacturing facility serving the aerospace and defence industries. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across multiple departments, gaining exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes while building valuable industry experience.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deburr and clean precision machined components
- Assist with mechanical assembly and part marking
- Package finished products for shipment
- Support shipping and receiving activities
- Transport materials throughout the facility
- Perform inventory counts and organize materials
- Maintain production supplies and housekeeping standards
- Assist multiple departments as production demands require
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or factory experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Machine shop or metal fabrication experience
- Assembly experience
- Inventory or material handling experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience using measuring tools
