About the Role:
As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee day-to-day site operations while performing hands-on carpentry work. You will lead a crew, coordinate with subcontractors and project managers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise carpenters and apprentices on site.

Perform framing, finishing, renovations, and general carpentry work.

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Plan daily tasks and coordinate work with the Project Manager.

Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets company quality standards.

Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices.

Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.

Inspect work for quality and address deficiencies.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

Assist with material planning and communicate job site requirements.
Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of carpentry experience.

Previous experience leading a crew or working as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman.

Strong knowledge of residential construction and commercial tenant improvements.

Proficient in both framing and finishing carpentry.

Ability to read blueprints and solve problems independently.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must have a cell phone for communication.

Own a complete set of carpentry tools.
