EVENTS & PR COORDINATOR

For over 50 years, our brands NAD and PSB have been pioneers in high-end audio, alongside the esteemed brands we represent, including DALI loudspeakers. In recent years, our Bluesound and Bluesound Professional lines have revolutionized the wireless, multi-room audio streaming market. The newly established Lenbrook Media Group now leads the commercialization of our proprietary media management technologies and platforms, including BluOS, MQA, AIRIA, FOQUS, and QRONO.
At our Pickering location we are looking for an Events & PR Coordinator who will serve as a primary resource for key brands and corporate initiatives supporting Lenbrook America, Lenbrook International and Lenbrook Media Group divisions. The candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of teams and functions to deliver result-oriented PR programs that increase awareness and understanding of our products. You will also play an instrumental role in driving and coordinating brand and media events to ensure they are executed to their full potential.
A day in the life:
· Support the Marketing & Communications Manager to manage our relationship with external PR agencies, execute our product sampling and media monitoring program, coordinate a calendar of trade and consumer events, and oversee influencer campaigns.
· Plan, organize, and execute events such as private media briefings, product launches, tradeshows and corporate conferences, including demonstration and exhibition concepting, vendor and rentals coordination, staffing plans, catering, equipment shipping and logistics, and implementing traffic driving and lead capture strategies, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
· Collaborate with the external PR agency to execute product sampling programs, including request intake and product shipment, coordinate press access to our product & subject matter experts, and media monitoring across all channels.
· Support our PR agency in expanding and strengthening relationships with targeted media outlets, provide valuable insights to management, and coordinate the execution of strategies to maximize these relationships
· Collaborate across the department to drive product launches and newsworthy announcements, including preparation of briefings for the PR agency, collation of press toolkits, writing and distribution of news releases, and amplification of news across owned and third-party media.
· Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to drive influencer campaigns, helping to identify and manage relationships with key influencers.
· Support Marketing & Communications Manager to prepare brand and company spokespeople for media engagements, by collating journalist/editor profiles and recent coverage of Lenbrook and competitor brands and deliver briefings on key speaking points and messages. Collate reports for management on program metrics including media mentions, media sentiment, event attendance, including surveying stakeholders on recommendations for future improvements.
· Actively oversee PR and event inventory including product samples, demo equipment, show toolboxes, branded promotional items, and display marketing materials.
· Coordinate regular meetings with PR agencies, scheduling calendars, collating agendas, keeping notes, and tracking action items.
What you bring to the team:
- 2 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communications, preferably in consumer goods or technology.
- Post-secondary education in PR and communications or marketing.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills combined with a high attention to detail in project management.
- A positive team player who is passionate about technology and media. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, and adapting quickly to change.
- Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations and needs.
- Effectively builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.

Pay: $47,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
