The Skotidakis Factory is situated on the Quebec / Ontario border. We are located in St-Eugene K0B1P0. We are center located between Montreal – Ottawa and Lachute. A shuttle service is offered from Montreal to our facility.

ELECTRO-MECHANIC / INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Electro-Mechanic/Mechanic provides ongoing mechanical support for dairy packaging and processing line operations.
- The Electro-Mechanic/Mechanic is familiar with industry standard PLC control systems.
- The Electro-Mechanic/Mechanic is capable of troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on dairy packaging and processing machines.
- The Electro-Mechanic/Mechanic can identify all parts and materials required to satisfy planned and emergency repairs.
- The Electro-Mechanic/Mechanic will report directly to the Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Ensure the proper and continued operation of dairy packaging and processing equipment.
- Fulfill requests from other departments for maintenance needs and repair requirements.
- Understand the procedures of the CMMS and applicable procedures in the ERP.
- Support the Maintenance Business Unit as a team player.
- Request parts and materials required for tasks on a timely manner.
- Input accurate data into CMMS or other systems as required to maintain proper and real time records.
- Return used or unused units and materials as prescribed by the business unit policies or SOPs.
- Perform other responsibilities, tasks and/or duties as per the request of the Maintenance Manager or Team Leader.

- Ability to regularly lift heavy objects.

- Understand and practice the safe use of tools and materials.
- Awareness of safety and security measures and policies in place to prevent injuries.

- Ability to use computer technology to make and keep a record of work performed and other tasks.
- Ability to work well with others and participate as a valued member of the Maintenance Business Unit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail and good task management skills.
- Reliable means of transportation (preferred)/ Have your own transportation to work

- Tuesday to Saturday
- 7am-5pm
- Day shift
