Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to lead our food service team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food industry operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily restaurant functions, manage staff, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel settings is highly valued.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing and onboarding new staff
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to meet safety standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper kitchen practices
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor staff performance, conduct training sessions, and promote a positive team environment
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Uphold hospitality standards consistent with brand expectations
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Background in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel operations preferred
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Effective communication skills for interviewing, training, and customer interactions
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and restaurant operational standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Prior experience with food industry roles such as barista experience or serving is advantageous
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices in food safety and handling
Pay: $15.80-$35.92 per hour
