Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for covering vacation. The ideal candidate will have experience in community pharmacy, with particular focus on OAT and addictions. Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery and witness OAT to designated care home setting
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient medication regimens for potential interactions or adverse effects
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Educate patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
Experience:
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Active Pharmacist license in the BC
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
