About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Outbound Sales Student Associate to join our dynamic team. This role will begin as a part-time position for a duration of 6 months, with weekly hours ranging from 15 to 20. The role primarily begins in the morning, and will be based in our Calgary office. As the Outbound Sales Student Associate, you are the main point of contact for all existing and prospect leads and connecting them to our Sales Team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your professional skills in a supportive environment. In addition to a base pay, the compensation package includes a competitive commission plan that rewards your hard work and success.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in identifying prospective clients and generate leads using Outbound Marketing Strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, and external networking events.
- Set appointments for potential clients and project leads to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, facilitating effective communication and ensuring their needs are met.
- Consistently attend internal and external meetings to stay up-to-date with goals and objectives, as well as engage with stakeholders to support project initiatives.
- Educate clients about the company and our offered services including its features, process, pricing, and benefits.
- Maintaining regular contact with leads through follow-up calls and emails.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain precise records of sales and client interactions though the CRM Software.
- Collaborate with team members to meet overall sales goals and provide insights on market trends and customer preferences.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Must be enrolled in a BBA or BComm program, majoring in Marketing or a related field, preferably in their 3rd or 4th year of study.
Experience:
- No prior experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in both Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM software for effective sales pipeline management is an asset.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Possess a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong resilience, adaptability, and patience.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and integrity.
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills with a demonstrated ability to create and nurture client relationships.
