Join us for the We Walk We Talk Carnival on Sunday, August 30, 2026! We are seeking friendly, caring, and reliable youth and young adult volunteers to help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for seniors and other community members.

- Time: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Location: 110–7580 River Road, Richmond, BC V6X 1X6
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers will work as part of a team and may assist with:
- Walking with seniors: Accompany seniors during the walk, engage them in friendly conversation, and help them feel comfortable and included.
- Set-up and take-down: Arrange tables, chairs, signs, decorations, and supplies before the event, then help with packing and clean-up afterward.
- Booth hosting: Welcome visitors, explain booth activities, distribute materials, and keep the booth organized.
- Traffic support: Help guide pedestrians and event traffic safely while following the organizers’ instructions.
We’re Looking for Volunteers Who Are:
- Friendly, patient, and respectful toward seniors
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team
- Available for their assigned volunteer shift
- Able to perform light physical tasks if assisting with set-up or take-down
No previous experience is required. A brief orientation will be provided on the day of the event.
