Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties
- Financial Statements, Accounting, Reporting and Account Analysis
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and summary report in the prescribed format by the Nth working day of each month
- Assist with the preparation and review key general ledger accounts monthly (lead sheets)
- Process monthly adjusting journal entries
- Perform monthly inventory ledgers reconciliation
- Assist with maintaining Fixed Asset schedules and process monthly depreciation entries
- Assist with Year-end reviews
- Assist with uploading annual budgets into Business Central
Cash and Banking
- Perform weekly and month-end reconciliation of all bank accounts
- Prepare Bank compliance reports each month
Other Support
- Multi-functional support in areas as required (Customer Billing, Accounts Payable /
Accounts Receivable)
- Assist with monthly HST and WSIB filings
- Assist with Duty drawback report
- Assist with US Sales report at year end
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of intermediate accounting experience
- Business Central experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Poer BI and Jet reports nice to have

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Financial statement preparation: 2 years (preferred)
- WSIB filing: 1 year (preferred)
- HST: 1 year (preferred)
- Accountant: 2 years (preferred)
