Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concierge/Tactical Security Guard to join our team at a residential property in Hamilton. This role requires a vigilant individual with proven expertise in residential and tactical environments, who excels in elite customer service while maintaining the highest security standards. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, you will be essential in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Access Control: Manage entry to the property by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Alarm & Emergency Response: Monitor alarm systems, respond to security breaches, fire alarms, or medical emergencies, and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
- Elite Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere, assisting residents and guests with inquiries, directions, and concierge-related services to a premium standard.
- Incident Reporting: Document all security incidents, disturbances, or safety concerns in detailed reports for management and law enforcement.
- Security Enforcement: Proactively enforce property rules, deter trespassing, and address suspicious activity with discretion and professionalism.
- Collaboration: Work closely with property management, fellow security personnel, and emergency responders to maintain a seamless security presence.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Minimum 1 years of experience in residential/concierge security and tactical security.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and composed in emergencies.
- Proficiency in alarm monitoring systems and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
