Bakke's Trucking Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Class AZ Flatbed Driver to join our team. We are looking for a professional driver who is based in the North Bay, Ontario area and is interested in operating throughout Canada and the United States.

Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class AZ Driver's Licence
- Valid passport and ability to cross the U.S. border
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience preferred but not required
- Flatbed experience considered an asset but not required
- Experience securing loads and tarping freight is an asset
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to complete electronic logs and required paperwork accurately
- Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company equipment throughout Canada and the United States
- Secure loads using chains, straps, and other required securement devices
- Tarp loads as required to protect freight during transport
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure freight is delivered safely and on time
- Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations
- Keep accurate records and complete required documentation
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public
Preferred Qualifications
- Reside in or near the North Bay, Ontario area
- Experience with cross-border freight transportation
- Strong safety record and commitment to compliance
- Experience hauling steel, lumber, building materials, or other flatbed freight
