Note this position is based out of our Markham Head Office and is classified as intermediate level with the opportunity to develop into a more senior role, such as a Senior Financial ERP/Reporting Analyst or Manager, in the future.
As our highly esteemed Financial ERP/Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in review and analysis of data related to ERP system implementation.
- Import/export data between different systems including validation as part of data migration
- Data cleansing for the purpose of importing and exporting
- System testing including account mapping and validation of transactions
- Designing and creating dynamic reports supporting finance and reporting. (Actual account balances versus budget across both PL and balance sheet)
- Designing dynamic reports to help streamline accounting process and functionality. (Eg. Revenue Deferrals and accruals, accrual expenses, labour reporting, cash management, tax etc..)
- Supporting month end process and reporting
- As our subject matter expert, providing support and training to internal customers.
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and thorough understanding of Canadian accounting principles.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience in Query writing and systems
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
- A go-getter attitude with a constant desire to improve and make an impact within their role and on those around them
