Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and hospitality environments, ensuring guest satisfaction and a safe, welcoming environment. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. Prior hotel, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established protocols
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality settings preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, industrial cleaning techniques, and safety procedures is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability is essential for maintaining consistent service standards
Pay: $17.25-$18.25 per hour
