In-Home Supervised ABA Therapist
Location(s): Scarborough, Oshawa, Brampton and Oakville
Agreement Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $40/hour
Schedule: Weekday evening and weekend availability is required. Sessions are scheduled based on family needs and program demand.
Job Summary
Aspire ABA is seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced In-home Supervised ABA Therapist to provide in-home ABA services to children and youth.
In-home services are provided across the GTA, with current service areas including Scarborough, Oshawa, Brampton and Oakville. Candidates may indicate the area(s) they are available to support.
As a Supervised ABA Therapist, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst to implement individualized ABA programming, support learner engagement and skill development, collect data, and collaborate with families and the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized ABA services in family homes
- Implement treatment goals and session plans under RBA supervision
- Support communication, emotional regulation, independence, participation, and skill development
- Collect accurate data and complete session documentation
- Communicate learner progress, questions, and concerns with the supervising RBA
- Collaborate professionally with families and the clinical team
- Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical practice
- Follow Aspire ABA safety procedures for in-home services
- Participate in supervision, coaching, and training
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Autism and Behavioural Science, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of ABA therapy experience in home and/or community-based settings
- Experience working with children and youth with diverse learning, developmental, and behavioural needs
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, skill acquisition, and behaviour intervention implementation
- Experience implementing treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA, RBA, or qualified clinical supervisor
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally in family homes
- Consistent weekday evening and weekend availability
- Reliable transportation is required to travel to clients’ homes for scheduled in-home sessions
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain before starting
- Current CPI, SMG, or equivalent crisis prevention/de-escalation training, or willingness to obtain before starting

Requirements

- Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
