The Role

DHX Media is looking for a full time Developer to help with the day-to-day maintenance of and developing new functionality for internal web and CLI-based PHP applications as well as updates and modifications to our CMS-powered sites.

What you'll do

Assist with maintaining and extending web and CLI-based PHP applications
Perform routine updates and modifications to CMS-based sites as required
Conduct QA testing and implement fixes as directed
As required, participate in and review content supplied by outside contractors and agencies

What you'll bring

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent working experience
2-4 years experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Familiarity with SCM technologies such as Git and SVN
Working knowledge of content management systems (eg. Drupal, Wordpress)
Understanding of working with external services (APIs, REST/SOAP-WSDL, etc)
Strong verbal and written skills
Detail oriented with good time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Be a team player with the desire to own projects and the ability to work with minimal supervision
