Performance Art Model
We are looking for a performer to participate in an ongoing contemporary art project in Vancouver.
Created by poet and sound artist Sora Takayama, IZANAMI is a live performance exploring Japanese aesthetics, ritual, poetry, sound, and movement.
No previous experience is required. We welcome applicants who are interested in contemporary art, live performance, or creative collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Attend rehearsals
- Participate in live performances
- Collaborate creatively with the artist
- Perform for a small audience
Requirements
- 19+
- Reliable and respectful
- Comfortable performing before an audience
- Interest in art and creative expression
Compensation
- Paid rehearsals
- $100 per performance
- Flexible schedule
A casual meeting will be arranged before participation to explain the project and answer any questions.
Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
