Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Service Technician (Yard) for a well-established company in the modular building and equipment industry.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, problem-solving, and completing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and prepare modular buildings and trailers for delivery
- Complete maintenance work including:
- Carpentry (framing & finishing)
- Basic electrical and plumbing
- Flooring, painting, and general repairs
- Perform modifications based on client requirements
- Conduct basic HVAC checks and maintenance
- Ensure units are ready on schedule and meet quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and attend regular safety meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Carpentry experience considered an asset
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, or welding is an advantage
- Must have reliable transportation (yard location outside central area)

Pay: $20.00-$21.50 per hour
