Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Placer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to concrete installation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the job site.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures and surfaces.
- Perform concrete forming, including setting up molds and frameworks for concrete pours.
- Engage in concrete finishing tasks, ensuring smooth surfaces and proper texture.
- Support flooring installation projects, including the application of different materials as required.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps in concrete applications.
- Collaborate with carpenters on installation projects, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as necessary, moving materials and equipment safely around the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete labor or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, flooring installation, and masonry techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site at all times.
