The Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day unit operation including direct supervision of unit staff. This role interacts with physicians, nursing staff, other unit staff, and other departments and interdisciplinary team members on a daily basis and provides clinical support to patient/resident care by exception only. The position facilitates and fosters interdisciplinary participation in patient/resident care activities and coaches, mentors, motivates and empowers clinical staff. The Unit Manager creates a climate of interdepartmental respect and collaboration, and adheres and models the Covenant Health mission, vision and values. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from a recognized nursing education program. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. Current CRNA registration in good standing. BCLS-HCP certification required. Minimum 5 years of recent and relevant Emergency nursing experience. Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience. Charge nurse experience required.
