Position : Shift Supervisor – Injection Molding
Location: Manufacturing Facility
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM & 12-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: Starting from $28/hour (up to $30/hour based on training and performance)
We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor for an Injection Molding manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with injection molding processes, and the ability to manage production operations efficiently.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in plastics manufacturing / injection molding environment
- Ability to work independently with a short learning curve
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small production team
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Job Duties:
- Supervise and lead production team members during assigned shifts
- Train new operators and ensure proper machine and safety procedures are followed
- Perform mold and insert changeovers according to production schedules and work orders
- Start up and shut down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely
- Troubleshoot and resolve molding process issues and product quality concerns
- Monitor production efficiency, cycle times, and overall machine performance
- Maintain molds during production runs including cleaning and lubrication
- Perform basic mold repairs and equipment troubleshooting when required
- Verify raw material handling, storage, and inventory accuracy
- Complete production reports, work orders, and quality documentation accurately
- Ensure workplace cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained
- Support overall production operations and perform other related duties as required
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
