Operations & E-Commerce Coordinator (Full-Time | English Required)

House of Contractors Inc. is a growing North American supplier of construction, material handling, and industrial equipment. We operate across Canada and the USA and are expanding.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to manage daily operations and support company growth.
This is not a commission sales role. It is a structured, execution-focused operational position.
Position Overview
This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations across order processing, supplier coordination, customer communication, invoicing, and marketplace management.
The objective is to maintain efficient internal systems so leadership can focus on expansion and strategic growth.
Core Responsibilities
1. Order & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate drop shipments with suppliers
- Manage backorders and shipping updates
- Maintain clear, professional communication with vendors
2. Customer Support (Inbound)
- Answer inbound sales and product inquiry calls
- Provide product information using internal resources and ChatGPT
- Send quotes and follow up on open quotes
- Follow up on PDI emails and upsell accessories when appropriate
- Intake service requests and escalate when required
3. E-Commerce & Marketplace Support
- Upload and update product listings on Amazon and third-party platforms
- Maintain accurate product descriptions, pricing, and data
- Monitor listing compliance and marketplace requirements
4. Administrative & Documentation Support
- Prepare and send customer invoices
- Complete RFQs (Request for Quotations)
- Fill out government order forms and procurement documents
- Maintain organized digital records
- Assist with warranty and service documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Native or near-native English proficiency (written and verbal required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette
- Comfortable using Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar platforms
- Strong computer skills (Google Workspace, Excel, email management)
- Ability to follow SOPs and execute consistently
- Calm, professional, and solution-oriented
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in construction machinery or industrial equipment
- Experience coordinating logistics or drop shipments
- Experience with e-commerce product listings
- Experience handling RFQs or government procurement documents
- Ability to speak French (higher wage offered)
This is a structured, operations-focused role within a growing company.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 49 per week
