The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager of Programs & Partnerships, you'll play an integral role in delivering programs and building partnerships that strengthen member engagement and advance strategic priorities. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll coordinate initiatives that connect members, partners, and stakeholders while ensuring every project is delivered with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Success in this role comes from balancing strong relationship-building with exceptional execution. You'll move confidently between conversations with partners, planning meetings with colleagues, and the day-to-day coordination of programs that create lasting value. Equal parts connector and program leader, you'll help transform ideas into well-executed initiatives that strengthen relationships, enhance member experiences, and contribute to the organization's continued growth.
This is a two-year term opportunity with the possibility of extension, offering the chance to contribute to several high-impact programs and strategic initiatives during an exciting period of organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Manager of Programs and Partnerships, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:
1. Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of organizational programs and strategic initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and reporting to ensure programs are delivered effectively.
- Monitor program outcomes and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support the development of new initiatives that align with organizational priorities and member needs.
2. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, government and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and cultivate new collaborative relationships.
- Represent the organization professionally at meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Act as a trusted point of contact throughout the planning and delivery of partnership initiatives.
3. Project & Initiative Management
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure projects remain organized and progress as planned.
- Develop processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and overall program delivery.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
4. Collaboration & Organizational Support
- Work closely with leadership and colleagues to support strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and updates related to programs and partnership initiatives.
- Contribute ideas that enhance member value, strengthen partnerships, and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through open communication, accountability, and shared success.
Qualifications
As the Senior Manager of Programs and Partnerships, you will possess the following qualities:
The Essentials (Hard Skills):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Public Administration, Communications, Project Management, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- 3–7 years of experience in program management, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, business development, economic development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and firm deadlines.
- Experience building and maintaining professional relationships across business, nonprofit, government, association, or community environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and detailed execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, reporting, and stakeholder correspondence.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Saskatchewan as required to support programs, partnerships, meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
