Pro Music is the largest independently owned music school in Waterloo, dedicated to providing exceptional music education to individuals of all ages. We are expanding our team with 3 Junior Piano Instructors who are passionate about teaching and nurturing young talent.
Position Overview:
As a Piano Instructor, you will join a collaborative and dynamic team of three teachers in the classroom. You will work with children aged 6 to 12, guiding them through their musical journey while using our established curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual piano instruction to students
- Assist with note reading, rhythm, and basic music theory
- Educate students according to set guidelines
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
Qualifications:
- RCM Level 6 or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Patience, positivity, and the ability to remain calm in teaching environments
- Exceptional verbal communication and time management skills
Additional Information:
- We are currently hiring for start dates in September!
- Work hours vary from Monday to Thursday, starting between 3:45 PM and 4:30 PM, and ending between 7:40 PM and 8:25 PM
