WestCreek Homes is a well established homebuilder in Calgary constructing new homes and different product types in various communities. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the position of Estimator.
Roles and Responsibilities
The following is a list of key responsibilities, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain budgets and efficiencies for all master home models
- Maintain job budgets and efficiencies for all new home sales
- Assist in conducting accurate take offs for budgets based on construction plans
- Assist Estimating with tracking and analyzing variance requests
- Accurately provide pricing to sales team for customer price requests
- Maintain option pricing in all aspects of the sales price book and website and marketing
- Review invoices from vendors for accuracy and comparison to issued purchase order
- Regularly analyzing and reporting to management
- Working with accounting to analyze efficiencies in cost control
- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets for cost control
- Review design changes and documents for modifications to scope of work
- Build and analyze metrics between departments for accuracy and efficiency
Candidate Requirements
The qualified candidate for the estimator position will require the following:
- Own transportation
- Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
- Very organized and detail in all aspects
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience in Homefront and Build Pro a strong asset
- Confident to grow and work in a team environment
