- Testing and monitoring air brakes to make sure it is in good working order and can operate safely
- Troubleshooting air brakes to resolve breakdowns or faults
- Gathering data and compiling reports to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing procedures
- Repairing and conditioning air brake valves
- Review and follow manufacturing manuals to air brake parts
