AIR COMPRESSOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Status: full-time - 40h/week

JOB SUMMARY
The Air Compressor Service Technician is responsible for assembly, repairs, servicing & testing of Air Compressors. Mechanical knowledge is key to be successful in this role. This role is primarily shop-based, with occasional customer interaction and troubleshooting support. We are looking for a candidate that wants to grow with the company and be part of the team.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Assemble & test compressors based on the customer’s specifications
- Work with industrial-grade compressors, pumps, motors, controls, and air treatment equipment
- Troubleshoot problems interfering with the correct operations of the air compressor
- Diagnose & troubleshoot air tools issues
- Communicate the problem and the work required to fix it to the customer
- Preparing & maintaining documentation when servicing the machine
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 6 MONTHS)
- Able to independently assemble and test standard compressor builds
- Diagnoses common mechanical issues without supervision
- Understands Airtek product lines and typical customer applications
- Produces clean, complete service documentation
- Trusted to speak directly with customers on technical issues
- Keep a clean work environment
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- Mechanical aptitude & experience: ability to understand and apply machine concepts.
- Knowledge of different air compressors types & how they operate
- Problem-solving skills: ability to use creativity to solve problems as they arise
