What You'll Do:
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every visit.
- Build customer confidence through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
- Drive sales by understanding customer needs and recommending products that provide value.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all cannabis regulations.
- Complete opening and closing procedures accurately.
- Receive, track, and organize inventory.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
We are looking for people who are:
- Able to complete Selling it Right Certification (or have)
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable.
- Naturally outgoing and confident speaking with customers.
- Motivated by sales and delivering exceptional service.
- Comfortable learning about cannabis products and continuously expanding their knowledge.
- Positive team players who also work well independently.
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Professional in appearance, attitude, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Selling It Right certification (required).
- Clean criminal record check.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service and cash handling experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with POS systems and opening/closing procedures.
- Previous retail sales experience required.
- Experience in the legal cannabis industry is considered a strong asset.
Hours of Work:
Affinity Cannabis is open from 9 am - 11pm
