We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Bike Mechanic and Sales Associate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about bicycles and customer service. Duties
Bike Mechanic
- Perform bicycle repairs and maintenance, including tune-ups, brake adjustments, gear servicing, and wheel truing
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Stay current on new bike models, industry trends, and repair techniques to enhance expertise
Sales Associate
- Assist customers in selecting bikes, accessories, and gear based on their needs and preferences
- Provide expert advice on bike features, maintenance tips, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Manage inventory levels of parts, accessories, and bikes to ensure availability for customers
- Support sales floor activities by greeting customers, answering questions, and processing transactions
- Stay current on new bike models, industry trends, and repair techniques to enhance expertise
Experience
- Prior experience with bicycle repair or sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge of bikes or similar equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers is essential
- Experience using power tools for assembly or repair tasks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
