GSK Canada is seeking a Digital Channels Manager to join our team and accelerate our customer experience with Healthcare Professionals in Canada. The Digital Channels Manager will serve as the digital channel expert within GSK Canada leading the coordination and execution of eDetail, 1:1 emails, 1:Many emails, updates, promotional webinars and other third party channels. This role will also require the analysis of digital analytics from the channels to uncover key insights for optimization and channel improvement


In this role, you will lead the project delivery of tactics across our core Health Care Professional (HCP) GSK Channels (Veeva,, Email and Webinars with some opportunity for other third-party channel experience as well) for your assigned brands
You have a result driven mindset where you are always seeking the quickest route to delivering projects and overcoming daily obstacles.
You will explore and implement process improvements for digital channel optimization and ensure flawless execution of digital projects
Partnering with Product Managers and Marketing Operation Centre through the brand planning process to make Digital & Multi Channel Marketing recommendations to support the Brand Strategy.
Leveraging digital analytics to make data driven decisions for your assigned brands.
This includes optimization of current tactics and recommendations of new tactics.

This individual would be responsible for the following:
Strategy and ways of working

Integrate with the brand teams to build a solid foundational understanding of brand strategies and objectives and leverage this insight (as well as digital knowledge) to develop and implement a digital plan for consistent, successful local execution in different channels (web, iPad, email and/or webinars/virtual meetings) in partnership with the Marketing Operations Centre and leveraging Global to Local materials where applicable
Responsible for maintaining the global standards, design/style guides, business processes for the core Health Care Professionals channels (e.g., web, iPad, email, and/or webcasts/virtual meetings)
Content & Insight

Work with brand teams to develop clear digital content strategy for core Health Care Professional channels
Leverage digital analytics to make data driven decisions and recommendations to brand teams on a monthly basis
Team management & Compliance

Work with Marketing Operation Centre and brand teams to ensure quick and efficient delivery of digital tactics for the brand team
Understand and communicate regulatory and compliance risks to leveraging channel/platform solutions to meet business objectives
Work with other channel associates and managers to build cross brand efficiencies and best practices

A track record of agility working with a diverse cross functional team with different social styles.

Marketing/ Business Administration Degree
3 to 5 years of working experience in a Client-Side Industry and/or Digital Marketing Agency
Experience working with and coordinating external agencies required
Project Management experience required
Skilled at working with other channel associates and managers to build cross brand efficiencies and best practices
Experience launching digital tactics

A demonstrated understanding of Digital Analytics and insight generation is an asset
Experience with Adobe Suite of Products (Adobe Experience Manager, Campaign, Analytics etc) an asset
Technically savvy with ability to learn new systems an asset
Familiarity with copy approval processes Vault (Content Lab) and PAAB an asset
Pharmaceutical Marketing experience (1 to 3 Years)
