What You’ll Do
As the Representative, you will be responsible for a range of activities, including but not limited to:

Coordinate recruitment activities, including preparing and posting vacancies, reviewing applications, pre‑screening and short‑listing candidates, and maintaining documentation.

Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on posting requirements, recruitment processes, and collective agreement considerations.

Supporting a high-volume recruitment environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong customer service.

Detailed Overview:
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Supports the functions of Talent Acquisition Services through the application of human resource procedures and processes pertaining to employment and recruitment processes; supports client portfolios and assigned Client Partners, Talent Acquisition to provide interface and services on a variety of recruitment activities; utilizes a suite of software applications, including on-line recruitment support; prepares recruitment media information; completes all documents to post job vacancies; reviews and assesses applicants received on-line or by mail; processes employment applications; contacts applicants to determine appropriate job matches; completes pre-screening and short-listing and all documentation to complete an applicant process; supports the Talent Acquisition team by completing and verifying references.
Responsibilities:
- Supports recruitment activities such as preparing and posting employment opportunities, processing on-line and paper-based profiles/applications, pre-screening and short listing applicants; matches applicants to postings and forwards information on-line to line managers.

Assesses applicants, reviews and confirms credentials/qualifications with applicants; conducts pre-screen interviews; provides guidance to managers on posting and recruitment requirements.

Supports the Recruitment team by completing and verifying references.

Assists in conducting human resources research and analysis; participates in confidential projects as requested; gathers and consolidates a variety of statistical information; provides summaries of data as requested.

Prepares, processes, updates and/or maintains a variety of competition files, other relevant files and external new hire lists.

Evaluates procedures; makes recommendations and implements revised methods to improve human resources administration in areas of responsibility.

Participates in human resource management issues by dealing directly with manager/employee inquiries.

Initiates, maintains and updates employee vacancy competition files; purges files completed and ensures their retention for approved period of time.

Responds to a variety of requests for information and assistance from internal and external contacts related to the posting process; prepares relevant correspondence as required.

Makes arrangements necessary for individual and/or group meetings, job fair or external presentations.

Provides general administrative support by sorting, screening and distributing correspondence and documents for the general information of the department.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Completion of a two-year post secondary program in human resources or a directly related discipline, plus two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
