We are looking for a highly strategic, agile, and autonomous Marketing Manager to operate from our on-site headquarters in Mississauga.Job SummaryAs the Marketing Manager, you will hold full ownership of our marketing engine, reporting directly to the company owner. We need a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience who possesses a deep understanding of marketing strategy and can contribute innovative growth ideas and execute campaigns completely without supervision.You will collaborate with our small, efficient in-office staff and coordinate with various external team members. Because the digital marketplace moves fast, you must be highly adaptable to quickly changing strategies necessary for a brand competing in a busy online retail environment.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Autonomy: Deeply understand marketing frameworks, contribute innovative growth ideas, and execute campaigns from concept to launch without supervision.
- Agile Campaign Management: Pivot and adapt quickly to shifting market trends and fast-changing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Owner & Vendor Collaboration: Report directly to the company owner to align on vision while managing relationships and workflows with external team members.
- UGC & Micro-Influencer Architecture: Oversee, develop, and scale our micro-influencer outreach strategy; design creator briefs, evaluate performance, and systematically assess partnership ROI.
- Klaviyo Retention Strategy: Architect, build, and manage our full email marketing ecosystem, including complex automated flows, segmentation, and continuous campaign optimization.
- Shopify Storefront Optimization: Oversee and upgrade the end-to-end customer experience on our website; update product listings, manage landing pages, and optimize D2C touchpoints.
- Advanced Content Editing: Utilize advanced digital editing skills to supervise, trim, polish, and produce high-converting photo and video assets from UGC and brand shoots.
- Office Coordination: Maintain executive organization over all digital asset libraries, influencer shipment workflows, campaign timelines, and internal software utilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Level: Minimum of 5+ years of professional marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on e-commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands.
- Independent Execution: Proven ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage the full marketing lifecycle without hand-holding or supervision.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, fluid environment where marketing strategies change rapidly based on data and market demands.
- Shopify & Klaviyo Expertise: Advanced hands-on experience managing Shopify storefronts and building high-revenue email flows in Klaviyo.
- Advanced Digital Editing: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, CapCut, or equivalent professional editing software.
- Elite Organizational Skills: Exceptional administrative ability to manage shifting project priorities, file naming conventions, tracking sheets, and small-office logistics.
Preferred Assets
- Amazon Seller Central: Experience optimizing Amazon listings, storefront design, and managing A+ content.
- Hair & Beauty Industry Passion: A deep interest or past professional experience in hair care, cosmetics, or lifestyle brand positioning.
